I picked up a new Kahr CM45 from Cherokee Gun and Pawn for a great price earlier today and just got back from the range, so he are my first impresions of this pocket sized 45 ACP.
I purchased a Kahr CM45 for CCW, I already have a CW380 and CM9 that have been flawless so I wanted to try a 45.
First I stripped and clean the Kahr CM45, the gun was so tight especially the barrel removal, the recoil spring was had to get back in. I frog lubed the slide and barrel, put Militec oil in the barrel, used Slip Stream oil for the outside of the barrel and the rails.
The list of options for those seeking a good handgun for concealed carry is a long one. Friends suggest one gun, the guy at the gun shop another. Deciding for yourself really is just that: decide for yourself. Hammer or striker fired, external safety or not, single or double action and any combination of those you could imagine.
